9-11
Wow, I can't believe it's actually been 7 years today. I know that it'll be one of the few days in my life that I'll remember all the details filled with emotion, pain and confusion. It was my senior year in high school, after walking into my first class, immediately I knew something was wrong. The whole day was filled with tears, friends trying to find out if their family was affected, the unknown and then realizing that forever America had been changed. Even in all this sadness, I remember praying to God and being reminded that HE is in complete control. And I still don't know the reason why, But I do believe that God can bring light into this tragedy. Today my prayer is for the family that lost someone and for all those who risked their life for another.

Many of you know that I have a slight infatuation with The Office. Who am I kidding, I'm obsessed with it. By no means am I proud to admit this. But I'm not doing anybody a favor by lying. Anyways, I have PATIENTLY waited for NBC to release season 4. So after some price checking I ordered it on Amazon last week(Bonus: I didn't have to pay for shipping),but I would have to wait a week. Finally after countless trips to amazon tracking my package, IT CAME yesterday!!! WOOHOO!!! The man in brown delivered. Since I had already made plans with my momma last night, I was only able to watch "The Fun Run" (including the deleted scenes) before I went to bed. It was MAGNIFICENT!! Then as I was lying in bed figuring out when I could watch more, I realized that not only do I have to work a double shift on Thursday, I have to today also. Which means I won't get home till 9:30-10:00. Bummer!!! Looks like I'll for-go a couple of hours of sleep for my love...Jim Halpert. By chance if any of you can't get a hold of me in the next few days know that if I'm not at work, I'll be on my couch watching my FAVORITE show. Please don't be worried, I'll come back to reality soon.

UPDATE
Hi friends,I know that you have checked my blog the last several months and I have neglected to update. So, for you I'm sorry. And I promise to be better.
New Beginings
The end of July I went from unemployed a working woman with 2 that's right 2 jobs. I work as a receptionist at a salon and I also work at a scrapbooking store. Both of which I absolutly LOVE!!!! The salon is really laid back, everybody is nice and into their own business so, there's not much gossip. And DUH I AM AT HOME AT the SCRAPBOOK STORE. Honestly, I love love going to work. I have so much fun helping customers with craft ideas. Plus I get to see all the new stuff that comes out.
I'll try to post some photos in the next week and update some more.

The joys of being a WOMAN
WARNING GUYS THIS CONTAINS WOMEN STUFF. (NOT GROSS, promise) READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!
As I was shopping for those I THANK GOD THAT I LIVE IN THE 21st CENTURY ITEMS today, it reminded me of a shopping experience I'd like to share with you. About a year ago, I was at Costso, on a Saturday, mid-afternoon, the most crowded and busiest time of the week to be shopping at such a place. Anyways, I need to pick up some tampons...

So I throw a few boxes in my EMPTY cart. Now just so you realize that i have over 200 tampons in otherwise a VERY EMPTY cart.

I'm traveling down some aisles when all of a sudden a VERY cute boy looks my way

Then looks in my cart, gives me an awkward smile and proceeds to walk away quickly.

After a moment like that, I decided to award my self with one famously delicious costco polish dog and coke! HOORAY for being a woman...

....and it's only thursday
While i was out celebrating Amy's birthday tonight, my friend Mat and I realized how many nights we have been out this week CELEBRATING. So here we go......
TUESDAY. A normal Tuesday would consist of going to Glendon's house for bible study, BUT not this week. No, we went BOWLING. And I did lousy. I got a 62 on the first game and a grand 64 on the second. But that's not saying much considering that Sarah got the HIGH SCORE of the night with a BIG 140. Then we went out for ice cream, where we watched a couple (probably on their 1st date) awkwardly talk to each other sitting side by side on 2 chairs because our group took up all the tables.
Wednesday. We went out to Kobe for a goodbye party before Glendon leaves. Our chef was GREAT and the food was tasty!!! Afterwards a few of us went and caught the last song of Brett's show at MOJO's. It was soooo cute to see all these kiddies run up to him after and get his autograph. (Later on, I found out that he PAID them. J/K)
Thursday. Amy's Birthday. We had pizza, root beer floats, games and tons of incredible pics on the new Mac that her hubby got her. Good job Pete.
What a week....and it's only Thursday.

Paula, Mary or Lil' Mama
Paula Abdul- American Idol

Mary the Screamer Murphy- So You Think You Can Dance

Lil' Mama- America's Next Dance Crew

Honestly, I can't decide which judge I despise more. Here's my theory on Paula, about 10 years ago she was abducted by aliens, but after spending ONLY MOMENTS with her, they rejected her and sent her back to Earth to reek havoc on the world. Now Mary is probably more coherent than the other two, but does she have to SCREEEAAAM every time one of her little "Hot Tamales" dances? Whitney and I literally had to keep the remote in hand through the entire show just so we could MUTE her. And lastly we have Lil Mama. Some of you may not know her, she's new to the scene. But apparently she never went to school, because this is what she'll say...Thas wwrite boy, Thas wat imm tauken mbout, U neva forgets ita fight. What she meant was, That's right boy, that's what I'm talking about, you never forget it's a fight. So what's the problem producers? Can you not find a female judge that is like able? I fully believe that there are women in the "show biz" that finished 3rd grade, can speak clearly and not be intoxicated while on camera. Maybe I am asking for too much????

Happy Easter
I LOVE EASTER!!! But my reasons have certainly changed over the years. When i was young i couldn't wait for the bunny to HOP into our home to hide eggs with coins and leave a basket with a new soft cuddly stuffed animal and treats. Now, as i reflect on the last few years it has changed to remembering that Jesus died and arose from the grave. It seems to reassure me of my faith, and the reasons why I choose to live my life for Him. I am so thankful for God's grace and the power he has. This last week I've been reminded of how week i am on my own and how i need to trust God! (Psalms 3:5-6)
Easter this year was different, but very enjoyable. Usually my mom makes a yummy dinner, but she just got home early this morning form her vacation, so instead Glendon and Kaytee hosted a BBQ at their house. we all had a great time enjoying the BEAUTIFUL blue sky, playing boccie ball, and of course EATING. Here are a few pics...

All right, so i did it. I gave in. I am now an OFFICIAL BLOGGER. I guess it's not so bad to let friends, family, the government, strangers, creepers and the entire world know what I'm up to.....right. Who am i kidding, I'm not that fascinating. But for the rest of you I do hope you enjoy it. I won't make any crazy promises, such as to blog everyday, but I'll try my best to keep you updated. I would like to dedicate this first post to Kimber, Claire and Mandy without which this blog would never exist. Thank you!!!
